Mímir's Cauldron
A cauldron simmers by Mímir’s well. It turns your leftover loot into something better. Every recipe shows a preview of what can come out and the odds before you confirm; when you brew, the cauldron bubbles and flashes in the color of the resulting rarity.

| 3 items of the same rarity (Common to Epic) | 1 item of the next rarity, with an iLvl equal to the average of the three. If all three are the same slot, you get that slot; otherwise, a random one. |
| 3 Legendary items of the same slot | 1 Legendary of that slot, with the Aspect of your choice among the three. |
| 2 pieces of the same set + 1 Freyja’s Tear | 1 missing piece of that set. |
| 50 Fragments | 1 Essence (a lossy trade). |
| 30 Essences | 1 Freyja’s Tear (a lossy trade). |
| 5 Stardust + an item of iLvl 40 or higher | A 25% chance to turn 1 regular affix into a ★. If it fails, the dust is consumed. |
The cost of each recipe is in the Crafting catalog. Gems and runes can also be combined, but with other NPCs: gems with Andvari and runes with the Völva.
