Chooser of the Slain

A warrior with a winged helm, spear and shield, at the far eastern end of the hall, beside the training ground and its straw dummies.

What she does

Talent tree. Opens the tree full-screen, in the shape of Yggdrasil: the trunk at the center and three branches. See Talent tree.
Skills per slot. Each of the 4 power slots has its default skill plus alternatives unlocked in the tree. This is where you choose which one to use.
Respec points. Free up to level 20; after that it costs gold (50 × your hero’s level) beta.
Training ground. Takes your hero to three self-restoring straw dummies. The panel shows your DPS over the last 5 seconds — perfect for comparing weapons, gems and talents.
Change class. Not available yet: for now, the Warrior is the only class.

In the myths

The valkyries choose the bravest among those who fall in battle and carry them to Valhalla. There they pour mead for the einherjar, who train every day for Ragnarök.
