Draugr

The draugr are dead warriors who refuse to rest. They claw their way out of the earth before the hero, fanning out one by one. Most of them fear fire; each type has its own resistance.

Shoots from afar (11 m). Each bolt is telegraphed before it’s fired. The Guardian’s Protect tactic makes the hero go after him first.

In the Icelandic sagas, the draugr are dead men who guard their own barrows and treasures. They have superhuman strength, can swell in size and reek of decay. Putting a draugr down for good often meant cutting off its head and burning the body — hence the fire.
