Mímir

Mímir
Sage of the Well
Only his head remains, resting above a well of blue light. He remembers everything — and in his well bubbles the Cauldron of combinations.
What he does
Section titled “What he does”| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Bestiary | How many of each enemy you’ve slain. With enough kills, it reveals the creature’s full description. |
| History | Your last 20 expeditions: region, difficulty, outcome, time, falls, kills, levels and gold earned. |
| Achievements | Goals that reward gold and fragments. Six of them grant a Mímir’s Rune (+1 talent point). See Achievements. |
| Rune recipes | The runewords you’ve discovered so far. The first two come already revealed. For gold, Mímir reveals another one at random (1,500 + 1,000 per recipe already revealed), and forming a runeword with Andvari reveals it too. |
| Cauldron | Transforms items: 3 of the same rarity become 1 of the next rarity, plus other recipes. See Mímir’s Cauldron. |
In the myths
Section titled “In the myths”Mímir was the wisest of the gods. After he was beheaded in the war between the Aesir and the Vanir, Odin preserved his head with herbs and spells and began to seek its counsel. Mímir’s well, beneath one of the roots of Yggdrasil, holds all wisdom.
